Motorcycle Transfer Protection Program

MedjetAssist is the brand leader in worldwide travel assistance and is proud to offer an assistance program specifically tailored for the motorcycle rider. This unique program was developed with the help and input of motorcycle enthusiasts and is without a doubt, a protection level developed by motorcycle riders for motorcycle riders.

MedjetAssist is a membership program providing worldwide medical evacuation and consultation services to its enrolled members when they become hospitalized while traveling more than 150 miles from their primary residence. The evacuation benefit is good whether traveling in the next state or outside the country. The Motorcycle Transfer Protection Program can be added to any membership for an additional fee ($25) and provides the following benefits for members:

  • Medical transfer and evacuation to the hospital of choice, regardless of medical necessity, virtually anywhere in the world
  • Return of the motorcycle to the member's shop or dealership of choice should the member be hospitalized**
  • Return of motorcycle if the member is treated on an outpatient basis, but diagnosed as "physically unable" to ride by a medical physician***
  • Return of the motorcycle to the member's shop or dealership of choice if the member is treated on an outpatient basis but has sustained physical injuries that prohibit continued operation of the motorcycle
  • Return of the motorcycle to the member's shop or dealership of choice in the event of an accident where the member is not injured but the motorcycle is damaged and not drivable
  • Medical Monitoring/Consultation
  • Travel, Health and Safety Precautions
  • Emergency Message Relay
  • Translations for medical services when traveling internationally
  • Medical and legal referrals when traveling internationally
  • Transport of mortal remains
** Motorcycle return is limited to North America (continental United States, Alaska, Canada and Mexico).

*** Motorcycles will be returned to the shops or dealerships of choice either within the member’s city of primary residence or city closest to the member’s primary residence.

The MedjetAssist Motorcycle Transfer Protection Program provides for up to $3,500.00 USD for return of the enrolled motorcycle per membership period.  Amounts over this cap will be the responsibility of the member.
